Ladydale is idyllically situated amongst beautiful expansive woodland and unspoilt Stafforshire countryside views. Originally an imposing Victorian house it stands in almost one acre of mature landscaped gardens surrounded by well stocked herbaceous borders.

Conveniently situated on the edge of Leek it enjoys the benefit of being close to all the towns amenities with the centre and the bus station being only a few minutes walk.

Ladydale became a residential care home in 1985 and in 1990 a purpose built modern wing was completed which complies with the most up-to-date and rigorous planning, health, safety and fire regulations. In 1999 five independent apartments were built in the grounds of Ladydale offering a superior standard of accommodation for those requiring a more self-contained way of life, but with the security of assistance immediately to hand and in 2002, a  further 10 bedroom ground floor extension  including own dining room and a lounge was completed.

Registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection, Ladydale offers fifty four  beds, mainly en-suite available for both long or short stay. All rooms are tastefully decorated and fitted with a nurse call system. Residents are encouraged to personalize their own rooms.

To enhance mobility within Ladydale there is an eight person shaft lift connecting all floors as well as stair lifts and corridor hand rails. In addition mechanical hoists are available to assist generally or with bathing.

We enjoy an enviable reputation for good fresh food cooked in our own modern kitchens and served in our pleasant and spacious dining room. There are two large communal lounges and residents have the opportunity for peaceful reflection or to join in with the many activities offered from day-to-day.

Visits from relatives and friends are encouraged at all times of day and the services of chiropody, physiotherapy, dental care, doctors, nurses, hairdressing and personal laundry are all readily available. There are regular visits from clergy of all denominations.

We provide twenty four hour care by carefully selected and trained care assistants and are nursed to a high ratio of staff to residents. Staff provide a caring environment where the dignity, fulfilment and individuality of the resident is observed and constantly maintained.

Arrangements to view Ladydale or any enquiries regarding facilities or fees should be addressed to Debbie Johnson, Care  Manager on 01538 386442
